The Manufacturing Readiness team for Nacelle, Hub, and Powertrain focuses on early product development and implementation, supporting various product platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with mechanical designers and key stakeholders during product development
  • Build product and process prototypes in mechanical areas both internally and with suppliers
  • Participate in change management for product and process prototypes, focusing on mechanical functions and assembly processes
  • Map current and future manufacturing processes for all mechanical functions and assembly processes
  • Identify critical processes and equipment for mechanical assembly
  • Estimate and plan mechanical aspects of projects
  • Review mechanical product concepts and deliveries at project milestones

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in mechanical or production engineering
  • Minimum 5 years' related experience
  • Strong project execution skills with documented process and product knowledge
  • Ability to lead and delegate tasks, enthusiastic and results-driven, adept at problem-solving
  • Work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision
  • Time management skills and ability to make informed decisions under pressure
  • Structural approach to project management with the capacity to visualize complex solutions

Competencies

- Process flow development: Ability to create process flows in early product development

- Production engineering knowledge: Agile manufacturing, lean production

- Design for assembly: Recognizing assembly criticality

- Design for manufacturing: Simplifying component analysis

- Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis knowledge
