Amazon Global Selling - Business Analysis Manager

The Global Selling team based in China focuses on enlisting local enterprises to sell their products on Amazon's 20 international platforms, as well as aiding local sellers in achieving success and expansion on Amazon.

In line with our commitment to foster substantial growth globally, we are seeking a dedicated Business Analysis Manager to transform data into actionable insights and provide support in addressing key strategic business inquiries.

In this position, you will operate within one of the most extensive and intricate data warehouse environments globally.

We are searching for individuals enthusiastic about working with intricate datasets, adept at converting data into valuable insights to address pivotal business queries.

The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of the analytical aspect of business queries, establishing and enhancing a metrics framework to gauge business operations, and interpreting data into significant insights.

As the Business Analysis Manager, you will oversee the entire analytics development process for complex inquiries, playing a pivotal role in strategic decision-making.

Solid business acumen and communication abilities are essential to collaborate with business leaders, comprehend business obstacles and prospects, and drive data-centric decisions to enhance processes and tools in conjunction with the business unit.

Above all, a profound passion for utilizing insights to enrich both the Customer and Seller experience in global trade is crucial.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of professional or military experience
  • 5+ years of SQL experience
  • Experience in automation scripting (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL proficiency
  • Proficiency in crafting measures, metrics, and designing reporting solutions
  • Background in liaising with business stakeholders to bridge data and business requirements
  • Track record in managing, scrutinizing, and presenting findings to senior management
  • Familiarity with experimental design theory, statistical analysis, and implementation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in statistics, data science, or a related quantitative field
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling
  • Proficiency in information retrieval theory, data science, machine learning, and data mining
