Senior BI Analyst, Asia Global Selling

Amazon Global Selling is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Senior BI Analyst to join the central PMO team. This is an unique opportunity to:
Play a highly visible role in an exciting and fast paced business to support FBA business growth
Drive high impact programs and initiatives with data-driven insights to continuously improve Sellers' experience, growth and profitability
Innovate with enhanced data-driven insights as well as influence and drive informed decisions of senior leadership
The ideal candidate is passionate about working with complex datasets and be someone who loves to turn data into insights to answer strategic business questions. You should have deep expertise in analytic view of business questions, building up & refining metrics framework to measure business operation and translating data into meaningful insights. In this role, you will have ownership of end-to-end analytics development to complex questions and you'll play an integral role in strategic decision making.
You should have excellent business and communication skills to be able to work with business owners to understand business challenges & opportunities, and to drive data-driven decision into process & tool improvement together with business team. Above all, you should be passionate about how insights can be used to improve both the Customer and Seller experience of selling across borders.
Key job responsibilities
- Proactively deliver and build Seller insights with data reporting and drive in-depth analysis from Seller economic and behavior perspective
- Connect dots and close loop to build end-to-end impact analysis post critical FBA policy or product change
- Inform business trend and facilitate business decisions with in-depth data insights to drive strategic initiatives
About the team
We are Asia Global Selling (AGS) PMO team. We collaborate with AGS business teams to identify key Seller needs and partner with global product teams to develop tools and solutions to improve Seller experience and sustainable growth.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business
- 5+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Experience with forecasting and statistical analysis
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
