Job Purpose
- Lead to understand China market potential, communicate the needs of China, build strong business cases to align and gain support from HQ & Region for strategic pipeline prioritization and product pre-launch preparation
- Lead the effective transition of new product plans to Commercial teams to ensure successful launch of new products in China
- Lead the China environment & policy understanding and key stakeholders mapping & engagement, pricing/ reimbursement strategy development together with Market access team (if applicable to candidate's mid to long-term career development)
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Work closely with Global/ Region/ Local R&D, TA and Medical teams to communicate the interests/ needs of China and expedite clinical development and launch preparation for CSL product portfolio
- Provide high-level assessment & input to build solid business cases and gain HQ & Region support for strategic pipeline prioritization and successful product launches in China
- Provide insight to CSL relevant TA (development status, competitive environment, diagnosis and treatment needs, and future trends) and evaluate the market opportunity for new products(pipeline)
- Co-lead strategy development for CSL TA & future assets and build product long-range forecast & budget planning to realize CSL GC Biology Strategy
- Act as CSL China new product project leader to coordinate regular GCLT review meeting for portfolio review and progress update
- Support Global Therapeutic Area (TA) teams to understand China market environment and healthcare policy, formulate strategy and pre-launch preparation
- Support Global/ Region Market Access teams to conduct market research for environment/ policy understanding and pricing/ reimbursement strategy development
- Develop launch guidance and launch readiness process
- Drive cross function project cooperation in pre-launch strategy planning and external stakeholders' early engagement to accelerate new product introduction into China market &maximize product therapeutic value to deliver best patient outcomes
- Support China commercial operation director and marketing, NPP director on relevant tasks and projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above major in life science, pharmacy, Science or Business Administration
- Graduated from International renowned university preferred; Graduated from Medical school preferred
- 3+ years' experience in Marketing preferably within life science industry
- Extensive experience in New Product Planning/ Strategic Planning/ BD or related experience in consulting firms
- Strong capability in planning, modeling, forecasting
- Strong commercial acumen and experienced in business research methodologies & analysis; ability to transfer insights to strategies
- Strong interpersonal skills, cross-functional engagement, and collaboration
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both in Mandarin and English
- Good searching skill on clinical & registration development status for early-stage products
- Must be able to work a flexible working schedule
