  • Key Responsibilities:

The First Line Risk and Control manager will assist with governing and managing non-financial risks in the First Line of Defence. This role offers specialized Risk and Control advice and support, promoting decision-making based on monitoring and insights. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the implementation of Risk and Control strategy set by the resilience senior risk control manager.
  • Carrying out tasks related to Business Continuity Management, focusing on Resilience Risk.
  • Engaging with different defense lines at the direction of the resilience senior risk control manager.
  • Developing and maintaining business continuity plans to ensure critical operations can continue during and after disruptions.
  • Conducting regular risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify threats and their impact on operations.
  • Implementing incident management protocols for effective response to emergencies.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders during incidents for timely communication and resolution.
  • Providing training sessions and simulations for staff on business continuity and incident management practices.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business continuity, incident management, or risk management.
  • Relevant certifications (CBCP, ISO22301 or equivalent) are preferred.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive operational risk with management buy-in.
  • Effective communication skills to interpret technology risks for non-tech background individuals.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines with quality results.
  • Proficiency in speaking and articulating in Mandarin and English.
