Main purpose of job:

Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve:
  • Market Access work (30%): Support the Market Access lead for Education and Skills projects, managing logistics and liaising with Trade Policy Unit.
  • Trade and Investment in Education (30%) and Skills (30%): Lead marketing activities, conduct market analysis, engage business partners, and coordinate media coverage.
  • Corporate Contribution (10%): Provide support for Corporate Operations and DBT China team objectives.
  • Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
  • - Proficiency in English and Mandarin
  • - Understanding of the education and skills industry
  • - Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • - Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently or in a team
  • - Strong IT skills including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and database management

Desirable qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • - Track record in business development in the education and skills industry
  • - Strong market research and data analysis skills
  • - Experience working with Chinese government and industry associations

Required behaviours: Communicating and Influencing, Delivering at Pace, Managing a Quality Service, Working Together
