Job Overview:Provide financial analysis of assigned global projects, assess financial risk, calculate revenue recognition, and maintain complete project accounting records. Offer training, analysis, and support for internal and external customers.Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage project portfolio primarily consisting of Time & Material, Unit Based, and Percent Complete contracts with expanded service lines and international reach.
  • Perform Start-up, Maintenance, and Retrospective analysis of project budgets following project analysis processes. Conduct monthly analysis meetings with Project Managers, review critical project information, develop project trends and forecasts. Keep accurate project financial records as per GAAP. Provide timely project information and margins to support revenue recognition. Deliver understandable project analysis information to project team and management. Proactively identify issues affecting project results and profitability, work on solutions to minimize risks and maximize profitability. Collaborate with other analysts to identify project trends and issues.
  • Assist with project invoicing and grants forecasting. Monitor accounts receivable, ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Act as a financial resource to project managers and team members. Conduct project financial training as needed. Respond to customer requests for project information.
  • Develop payment schedules to maintain positive project cash flow, minimize foreign currency exchange risks. Review contracts and payment terms for accuracy.

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, MBA, or CPA preferred.
  • Experience: 3 years of Project Analyst experience with CRO or Pharma company.

    • Proof-reading and Analytical Skills: Produces accurate spreadsheets, proactively checks and corrects errors.
    • Knowledge of GAAP and percentage completion revenue recognition.
