GLG is looking for candidates for a Specialists/Analysts position based in Shanghai, China. As part of GLG's 70-person global compliance team, you will be providing essential support to global client service professionals. This role offers you a chance to enhance various business skills such as time management, communication, problem-solving, and project management. The Specialist/Analyst in the Compliance team will have a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
  • Understanding GLG's compliance framework.
  • Screening expert profiles to ensure accuracy and appropriateness, conducting further research when needed.
  • Reviewing projects to identify risks or compliance violations.
  • Daily interaction with client service professionals to address issues.
  • Problem-solving approach to deliver practical solutions.
  • Collaborating with compliance team members across different locations to provide support.
An Ideal Candidate Should Possess:
  • Entry-level experience in a specialist/analyst role.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
  • Good Internet-based research skills and familiarity with investigative tools.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and maintain high accuracy.
  • Adaptability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
