As a R&D Associate Engineer for Electrification Business Area in Xiamen, China, you will be under the Global Technology department, handling the global R&D project.

Your responsibilities
  • Creating mechanical designs as 3D models for both assemblies and single parts
  • Deriving 2D drawings and implements them into the required tools
  • Deriving Bill Of Material (BOM) and implements them into the required tools
  • Creating images required for internal and external documents as well as software tool front end screens
  • Sourcing and reviewing prototype parts/ 0-series
  • Executing mechanical calculations resulting in input for guidelines and/ or mechanical designs (e.g. air flow calculation, force calculation, electrical device coordination, etc.)
  • Being a technical author for internal and external manufacturing documentation in English
Your background
  • Mechanical background, 35 years working experience
  • Master and relevant industry experience are preferred
  • Excellent skill at Solidworks and Auto-CAD is required
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with the relevant IEC standard is desirable
  • Good English skill
