This position reports to

Sustainability Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving sustainability performance in your assigned area of responsibility. Each day, you will support the implementation of the group-wide sustainability strategy and business-specific priorities by applying in-depth knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by providing feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within your own unit and across ABB.

Support ABB global supply chain sustainability programs (including Sustainable Supply Base Management program (SSBM) and supply chain greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction program etc.)

Sustainable Supply Base Management program (SSBM)

• Comprehend historical findings from ABB supply chain sustainability due diligence (social and environmental compliance) audits in past years. Create analysis reports and visuals for management review.

• Facilitate SSBM program new country roll-out and new assessor on-board trainings. Moderate training sessions.

• Collect EU, US, and China directives/regulations, as well as associated technical norms on social and environmental aspects.

• Other assignments from manager.

Supply chain greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction program

• Maintain GHG program tracker and dashboard, administrate EcoVadis access and prepare regular statistics reports.

• Create Global Supply Chain GHG emissions reduction program internal website.

• Support supplier engagement pilot project.

• Collect EU, US, and China directives/regulations, as well as associated technical norms on greenhouse gas emissions.

• Other assignments from manager.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachlor degree, major in Sustainability, Environment, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or other similar major
  • Excellent English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
  • Good at Microsoft Office applications i.e., Word, Excel etc. Skill/experience on Power BI is a plus.
  • Proactive, detail oriented, problem solving, team work
