About College:

The discipline of Microelectronics at Shanghai University originated in 1958 and was one of the first semiconductor science and technology majors in China. The college was established in November 2019 and is located on the Jiading campus of Shanghai University. It is jointly built by Shanghai University, the Shanghai Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Jiading District Government, Shanghai Microtechnology Industry Research Institute, and other innovative enterprises in the entire integrated circuit industry chain. The college has established research bases such as the Key Laboratory of New Display Technology and Application Integration of the Ministry of Education, the Shanghai Intelligent Perception Chip Technology Collaborative Innovation Center, the Shanghai Automotive Internet Interaction Chip and System Key Laboratory, the Integrated Circuit and New Display Materials Engineering Research Center, and the China Switzerland Advanced Technology Research Institute, committed to creating a source of innovation in integrated circuit application technology, Layout five main strategic directions: integrated photons and MEMS intelligent sensing, intelligent display chips and flexible electronics, advanced microelectronics and information materials, micro/nano manufacturing and semiconductor equipment, chip design and system applications, to solve several "bottleneck" technical problems in the field of integrated circuit pan Moore applications, and form a batch of applied scientific research achievements that can support the development of the integrated circuit industry.

Research Area:

Responsibilities:

  1. Chair professor should master the world's leading technology and have recognized global appeal or industry leadership in academics.
  2. 'Distinguished professor' should have made outstanding academic (technical) achievements and had an important impact in the academic or industrial fields at home and abroad.
  3. 'Distinguished associate professor' should have achieved fruitful scientific research achievements and have had a great impact in academic or professional fields at home and abroad, and should not be more than 35 years old in principle.
  4. Assistant professor (lecturer) should be able to independently carry out cutting-edge academic research in microelectronics, and in principle, no more than 32 years old.
  5. 'Distinguished researcher' should have achieved a number of high-level scientific research achievements in the original theoretical research of microelectronics or the key core technology of integrated circuits, and should not be more than 40 years old in principle.
  6. 'Distinguished associate researcher' should have scientific research experience in major key scientific research projects in the field of integrated circuits and have achieved fruitful scientific research results, and in principle, they should not be more than 35 years old.

Requirement:

  1. Undertake the basic tasks of undergraduate teaching and graduate course teaching, and preside over or participate in teaching reform;
  2. Preside over or participate in scientific research or research and development projects, and achieve high-quality research and development results;
  3. Preside over or participate in the construction of disciplines, the construction of industry-education integration platforms, professional construction and curriculum construction;
  4. Preside over or participate in the compilation of teaching materials and handouts;
  5. Go deep into the front line of the industry, have an in-depth understanding of the development of the integrated circuit industry and the demand for talents;
  6. Take the initiative to participate in the work of the college center, enhance the sense of collaboration and cooperation among colleagues, and complete other tasks arranged by the college;
  7. Comply with the relevant requirements of teachers' ideological and political and teacher ethics and style.
