We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Hong Kong PCM Finance Manager.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Support the key Business Finance responsibilities for ASP GPS including reporting, forecasting, cost management, annual plan and strategic analysis for senior management
  • Lead the GPS cost management across GPS maintaining robust controls, monitoring and oversight
  • Develop and improve tools to streamline the MI generation and contribute to build analytical capabilities to drive insightful analysis
  • Business partnering with regional and country business and product heads to deliver sound financial advice on business performance
  • Manages financial analysis, commentary and interpretation of results as it relates to Asia Pacific
  • Support and collaborate with stakeholders on the transformation agenda on regards to Visualisation, Digital and Automation across GBM Finance
  • Support business and finance on SOX compliance
  • Drives and develops HSBC's understanding of how client, regulatory and environmental changes, and competitor strategies will impact demand for GB across the region
  • Promote the usage of client profitability analytics in OMNIA
  • Develop competitor analytics to support the businesses evaluation of current product performance
Requirements
  • Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Economics qualification
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast changing, results-driven environment
  • Commercially minded and customer focused with exceptional drive and commitment
  • Outstanding leadership skills, demonstrating ability to use initiative and effect change through people in a large matrix organisation
  • Ability to identify problems and offer solutions, and drive through their execution in a collective environment
  • An understanding of Global Banking products would be advantageous
  • Strong management information background, both in terms of required content, production processes and understanding what drives the numbers reported
  • Varied finance career with exposure across multiple finance disciplines (such as Financial Accounting & Control; Business Information & Analysis; Financial & Regulatory Reporting, ALCM) with exposure to site, regional and global teams
  • Good operating skills, including use of Microsoft Office, Programming (e.g. Python), Visialisation tools (e.g. Qlik, Tableau)
  • Finance systems knowledge is advantageous (TM1, Omnia, etc)
