This position reports to

Service Sales Support Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Responsible to implement the defined service channel sales strategy in their specified market scope (glob-al/regional) in an effective manner to improve ABB's service market penetration and realize its growth aspirations in the assigned channel. Executes service channel sales strategy and initiatives within the assigned market, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel, in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market coverage, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. Acts as a critical contributor to the service sales customer base growth for the assigned channel.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements the agreed service channel sales strategy within the approved budget.
Contributes to the identification of appropriate channels and targets.
Provides channel strategy inputs to the Sales team and helps to harmonize the market sales and marketing plans.
Contributes to achieving the key targets (e.g., volume, prices, mix) for the assigned channel in the specified market.
Creates detailed business plans and implements them with regular follow-ups.
Contributes to the service sales channel frame agreements.
Regularly reports the progress on channel strategy, plans, and budgets.
Conducts analyses on channel activity and takes ownership for solving the problems identified, if any.
Implements the planned communication, promotion, and training activities in the channel/segment.
Supports in the evaluation/certification and training of channel partners.
Identifies and evaluates channel partners as per agreed ABB policies and standards including cybersecurity), in coordination with the Channel or Sales Manager.

Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.
Ensures adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies.

Demonstrates an understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms, concept application, reporting, and risks.

COLLABORATION / LEADERSHIP

• Supports in driving strategic partnerships, through developing personal relationships with partners, customers, and other decision makers.

• Collaborates with the Marketing and Sales teams and executes the activities that require channel/segment partner participation.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor or master degree, Major in science or engineering (electrical automation major is preferred)
  • At least 3 year's sales experience in related industries;
  • Strong sales competency with digital capability & knowhow;
  • At least have experience and knowledge of digitalization (automation) project
  • Strong learning ability; customer orientation;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and personal integrity;
