Position Overview

eChinaCareers is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Curator of Library at our international school in Foshan, China.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive library strategy that aligns with the school's academic goals and objectives.
  • Manage and maintain the school's library collection, ensuring that it is up-to-date and relevant to the needs of students and staff.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate library resources into the curriculum and support student learning.
  • Provide training and support to students and staff on the use of library resources and technology.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in library and information services, and apply this knowledge to improve the school's library services.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Library Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in library management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
