About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team at Maquet (Shanghai) Medical Equipment Co. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers in the medical devices industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct installation preparation, installation, and equipment debugging at customer sites, ensuring a thorough understanding of product structure, function, and working principles.
  • Be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and updating customer equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Improve customer satisfaction through professional services, participating in service process improvement, and service brand building.
  • Provide customers with product-related operation and technical guidance, ensuring seamless integration and optimal use of our medical devices.
  • Protect company assets and maintain test equipment, spare parts inventory, and other company equipment and supplies in good condition and working order.
  • Complete on-site equipment updates as required by the company, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Performance Improvement and Documentation

  • Be responsible for tracking customer accessory sales and receiving payments, ensuring accurate financial records and timely payment processing.
  • Be responsible for filling out relevant work reports and documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist relevant colleagues in developing the after-sales market, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Document all activities in accordance with service policies and procedures, including customer product complaints, adverse event feedback, and tracking.

Minimum Requirements

  • College degree or above in mechanical, electrical automation, or electromechanical integration related majors.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a field service role in medical devices/pharmaceutical industry, technical repair, or related technical field. Sterilizer and washer products background is preferable.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Certain ability in reading and expression in English, capable of reviewing and understanding electrical drawings and technical documentation written in English.
  • Customer-oriented, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability, a high level of self-study, and strong team spirit.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, well-organized, and able to carry out tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook, etc.
  • Proficient in using schematics, systems diagrams, and repair/replacement procedures.
  • Knowledge of applying special software tools, such as AutoCAD, preferred.
  • Holding a genuine interest in people and able to deal with customers in a friendly manner, often within stressful situations, providing an excellent service on behalf of the Company.
  • Be self-motivated, able to work flexibly and under pressure in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Be able to cultivate a positive rapport with the customer, demonstrating first-class interpersonal skills in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
  • A valid driver's license is a plus.
