Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Financial Planning Expert. This position is based in a financial services environment, and the ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and business acumen.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Preparing accurate and timely management information reports and presentation decks for senior management committees/meetings
  • Performing analytical reviews on business performance
  • Supporting the development of strategic financial direction and managing annual planning, budgeting, and quarterly forecasting exercises
  • Collaborating with business teams to enhance commercial insight by combining business knowledge with financial performance analysis
  • Providing support for ad hoc requests, including IFRS17 and other MI projects

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in insurance/brokerage companies, accounting, auditing, or related fields
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, as well as self-driven behavior
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under time pressure, be flexible, practical, and build excellent stakeholder relationships while carrying out core responsibilities
  • Knowledge of IFRS17 is considered an advantage

Expected Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
