Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Elementary Education Instructor for a prestigious international institution. This role is a full-time opportunity aimed at enhancing the educational experience of young learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing curriculum requirements and collaborating with colleagues and management to select suitable courses for our elementary students;
  • Contributing to the formulation of structured educational plans for all grade levels;
  • Participating in regular staff meetings focused on curriculum development, student progress, and effective teaching practices;
  • Engaging in the establishment and evaluation of educational objectives for the elementary division;
  • Collaborating with fellow educators to create and enforce educational policies;
  • Enhancing the learning experience by providing a diverse range of extracurricular activities;
  • Assessing and grading student work, offering constructive feedback, and maintaining detailed records of student development;
  • Staying informed on current educational topics, and developing innovative teaching resources;
  • Utilizing a variety of learning materials and tools to support instruction;
  • Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to improve teaching quality;
  • Organizing and participating in extracurricular initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A relevant degree and teaching certification in elementary education, such as a B.Ed. or P.G.C.E., or equivalent qualifications;
  • A minimum of two years of teaching experience in an elementary setting;
  • Experience in international education or with diverse student populations is preferred;
  • A proven record of providing exceptional support and care for students;
  • Experience working with students for whom English is a second language.
