Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and debug WiFi software and firmware for customer products.
  • Provide hands-on support for customer product development cycles, from product definition to production line test.
  • Collaborate with sales teams, FAEs, and customers to adapt Renesas technologies to new platforms and solutions.
  • Contribute to the improvement of deliverables, tools, devices, architecture, and reference designs.
  • Travel to customer sites as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded software/firmware development using C/C++ programming languages.
  • Familiarity with RTOS and Linux architectures, Linux Driver development is a strong plus.
  • Good understanding of WiFi systems, WLAN specs, and protocols.
  • Experience in WiFi software stack development and debugging, device driver, kernel networking stacks, firmware.
  • Good skills in packet analysis, MAC and TCP/IP level with Wireshark/OmniPeek tools.
  • Familiarity with Arm Cortex M and connectivity interfaces: I2C, SPI, UART, SDIO, USB.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-centric approach.
