Job Title: Commodity Manager

Watts Water Equipment Manufacturing (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Commodity Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the supplier portfolio for Enware and regionalizing, rationalizing, and optimizing supply strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop short, mid, and long-term supplier business roadmaps to drive parts standardization, simplification, and localization.
  • Closely collaborate with Enware's R&D Engineering and Supply Chain on NPI projects to drive parts standardization, simplification, and localization.
  • Support Enware's operation teams and engineering by creating the right environment and reliable supplier base.
  • Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute transferred/In-source projects and tasks.
  • Analyze the global market and build Enware's sourcing strategy and consistent with business initiatives.
  • Responsible for KPI results - PPV savings, Quality DPPM, OTD, Payment terms, secure supplier backup, and consolidation.
  • Lead and manage supplier negotiations to constantly drive material cost reduction and meet annual saving target.
  • Manage suppliers per Monthly/Quarterly Business Review through Q.C.D.S.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Mechanical engineering, Supply chain, or Product management.
  • Project Management skills and experience preferred.
  • More than 5 years' experience of global sourcing or commodity manager in multinational company, Sanitary Ware and Bathroom equipment companies preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Ceramic (vitreous China) washbasins, toilets, cisterns, and urinals and their mold design, manufacture, and production quality management.
  • Flushing systems including mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic plumbing control valves, Drainage waste systems and fittings, Stainless steel, washbasins, toilets, cisterns, and urinals manufacture and production quality management.
  • Solid surface and other polymer composite material sanitary products, their mold design, manufacture, and quality management.
  • General plumbing and valves manufacture including but not limited to Non-ferrous casting, forging, and machining.
  • Watermark Compliance for Australian plumbing product supply, Australian Standards, and AS1428 compliance.
  • Advanced sourcing methods (Cost breakdown, Negotiation skills, Supplier development and selection, Risk management).
  • Ability to manage cross-projects and establish clear goals and accountabilities to ensure successful delivery (on time, within budget, upon success criteria).
  • Excellent presentation, project management, and communication skills.
  • Good English for both oral and written.
  • Good sense of entrepreneurial spirit of personal commitment and result-oriented.
  • Change savvy, self-learning.
  • Capability of working with diversified groups from different businesses and multicultural interfaces.
  • Cross-functional, holistic, and logical thinking and action-taking.
