Color Matching Specialist

Job Summary:

As a Color Matching Technician at Axalta, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our coatings. Your primary responsibility will be to synthesize color samples, record relevant data, and communicate any abnormalities to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize color samples according to engineer specifications, record data, and communicate any abnormalities.
  • Test samples and record relevant technical indicators, summarizing and reporting results.
  • Assist in categorizing and summarizing experimental data, participating in project discussions.
  • Support the daily work of the formulation development engineer, including emergency tasks.
  • Ensure the reliability of test results through proper device operation, testing execution, and regular device maintenance.
  • Communicate and report test results to laboratory chemists.
  • Record all process data and results, summarizing them into simple reports.
  • Maintain good health and safety awareness.

Requirements:

  • Accept and comply with Axalta Shanghai R&D Center safety regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree or above, with a preference for chemistry-related fields.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a paint industry laboratory or quality control department.
  • Good device operation skills, with the ability to perform simple maintenance and calibration.
  • Ability to withstand high levels of work pressure, maintain confidence, and accept reasonable overtime arrangements.
  • Team spirit, agile thinking, good communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Willingness to learn and adaptability.
