About the Role

Sun Chemical Corporation, a leading manufacturer of packaging and graphic solutions, color and display technologies, functional products, electronic materials, and products for the automotive and healthcare industries, is seeking a highly skilled Field Support Technician to join its team.   

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for South China OEM customers, providing technical support and guidance on system integration issues, including color management, print head waveforms, electronics, and engineering.
  • Track and manage the sampling of inks to South China customers, ensuring timely and effective communication of test results to maximize the value of ink samples.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Manager to advise customers on system integration issues and provide solutions to optimize ink performance.
  • Work closely with OEM customers to resolve complaints, collect necessary information, and manage trials of new batches and different prototypes.
  • Manage trials effectively, arranging trial logistics, and assisting with fault finding and problem resolution as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in inkjet field support, ink and coatings, or printing is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of inkjet printers and printheads is preferred, along with some printer or printing experience.
  • Frequent travel to South China is essential for this role.
