The Role

As a Technical Support Specialist at Roche, you will provide IT product technical support for our Field Service Engineers, customers, and other departments. Your primary goal will be to ensure timely and efficient Roche instrument service.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Under guidance, collaborate with Field Service Engineers to provide level 2 technical support and follow up on escalated trouble cases.
  • Allocate reasonable time for online service and ensure smooth remote troubleshooting.
  • Compile, review, and update product technical documents regularly.
  • Collect instrument and spare parts quality issues, communicate with Global Customer Support, and provide technical solutions or feedback.
  • Work closely with BA Solution Integration Team colleagues to support and implement IT solutions for customers.
  • Assist National Technical Solution Engineers to provide IT technical support for instruments used by other departments.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Excellent command of English in spoken and written forms.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software applications.

Your Experience:

  • At least 2 years of IT support experience in the industry, with a preference for HIS/LIS hospital laboratory or interfacing experience.
  • Experience in software or interface development is an asset.

Key Skills:

  • Planning and organization.
  • Internal and external customer cooperation and coordination.
  • Systematic knowledge of IT products and ability to analyze causes and share knowledge with others.
  • Coaching and supporting fresh engineers to enhance technical skills.
