Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Engineer to join our team at Cadence Design Systems, Inc. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our customers to enable them to successfully integrate and use our Processor and Design IP in their System-on-Chip (SoC) designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Interface with customer architects and R&D teams to evaluate application-specific IP performance and features per customer's SoC requirements
- Provide direct technical customer support and assistance to enable customers to successfully integrate and use our Processor and Design IP in their SoC designs
- Work with the field team to manage IP activities in the region to achieve a high customer satisfaction rate and build strong customer relationships
- Provide customer feedback on new and existing requirements for Processor and Design IP usage from customers to the R&D business unit
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of design or customer-related working experience
- Experience in SoC front-end design
- Experience with at least one of DDR/HBM/PCIE/Serdes/Ethernet protocols and Processor IP is a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills are required
- Good understanding of SoC architecture
- Back-end design and analog skills
- Good understanding of the semiconductor IP marketplace and ecosystem
