**Job Overview**


We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Maersk Air & LCL Platform technology team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building and running digital technology used in Maersk's Air & LCL operations.



About the Role

The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Java. They will also have experience working with Redis, MongoDB, Kafka, Postgresql, and microservices architecture. Additionally, they should have knowledge of cloud infrastructure and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Key Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and test clean code using design patterns and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork, working closely with other engineers and product managers to deliver high-quality products.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and task estimation to ensure timely project completion.
  • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams to articulate technical complexity and drive project success.


Requirements


  • 8+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Java.
  • Experience working with Redis, MongoDB, Kafka, Postgresql, and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical complexity to both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • A commitment to continual learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
