Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Automotive Software Testing Engineer to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Group China Ltd.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $120,000 - $180,000 based on industry standards and the location of Beijing, China. Job Description

As an Advanced Automotive Software Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive testing plans for ADAS platform software, ensuring high-quality and reliable products that meet customer expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in ADAS platform software function testing.
  • Familiarity with automotive protocols such as CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, and Flexray.
  • Experience with AutoSar platform testing, including Communication Test, UDS Test (ISO- and ISO-), Network Management Test, etc.
  • Familiarity with tools like CANoe, Vector, CAN DIVA, and CAN Dela.
  • Strong understanding of SW security, OTA, Time Sync, and Diagnostic functionality testing on ADAS platform software.
  • Ability to design test solutions for different functions in ADAS platform software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and good English reading and oral communication skills.
  • Prior experience with CANoe CAPL scripting and Python programming is a plus.
