Job Title: Certified Nurse Practitioner

McLean Hospital is a leading psychiatric hospital committed to providing high-quality mental health services. We are seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nurse Practitioner will provide ongoing psychiatric and medical assessments, case management, and psychopharmacological treatment. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing, current national nurse practitioner board licensure, and prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychiatric and medical assessments, case management, and psychopharmacological treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary clinical team and community-based healthcare organizations.
  • Manage irregular or extended hours when necessary to ensure a safe and therapeutic staffing pattern.
  • Assess, diagnose, and provide psychopharmacological treatment.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited National League of Nursing graduate school.
  • Current national nurse practitioner board licensure with prescriptive authority.
  • Minimum of 24 months experience in an adult inpatient psychiatric setting or related experience.
  • Experience in an Emergency Room is required.
  • Self-motivated individual with good organizational skills, ability to multitask, and flexibility.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively address problems.
  • Basic computer skills to use electronic or online systems for communication, clinical, and administrative purposes.
