About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Baker to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel Beijing. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the pastry department and ensuring that our guests enjoy the highest quality baked goods and desserts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the pastry department and oversee the production of high-quality baked goods and desserts
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance the guest experience
  • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure efficient operations
  • Train and mentor junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high-quality standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of experience in a senior pastry role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results and exceeding guest expectations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and presentation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
