About the role

The Four Seasons Hotel Beijing is seeking a Chief Baker who shares a passion for excellence and infuses enthusiasm into every task. Working within the Pastry department, the Chief Baker will report to the Executive Pastry Chef .

What you will do

1. Contribute to the overall success of the kitchen, adhering to corporate food and beverage guidelines, hotel standards, and financial objectives.

2. Ensure that employees deliver excellent service to internal customers in other departments as needed.

3. Enhance employee productivity through multi-skilling, multi-tasking, and flexible scheduling to meet financial goals and guest expectations.

4. Estimate food consumption and manage the requisition of foodstuffs and kitchen supplies.

5. Create unique dishes and develop innovative recipes.

What you bring

1. A minimum of two years of prior experience in culinary or food and beverage roles, including supervisory or assistant manager positions.

2. Strong communication skills.

3. Proficiency in operating computer equipment and food and beverage management systems.

4. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential, along with work authorization in China.
