Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Systems Engineer to join our team at Bosch, focusing on electric controlled steering systems. This role involves various responsibilities aimed at ensuring the functionality and safety of automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configuration and setup of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) in electric steering systems.
  • Provide on-site support for vehicle CAN diagnostics, function verification, installation, and parameter tuning.
  • Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to clarify system and functional requirements.
  • Lead the development of function safety for steering systems, including safety concepts and requirements.
  • Create and maintain essential function safety documentation, including Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA) and safety reports.
  • Conduct function safety verification to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Engage in product security development, assessment, and documentation.
  • Assist in acquiring customer projects through effective support.
  • Monitor market trends and analyze competitive technologies and regulatory requirements.
  • Document requirements, testing procedures, reports, and approvals systematically.
  • Coordinate safety assessments with internal safety auditors.
  • Troubleshoot system issues effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with experts from Germany.
  • Provide assistance to fellow engineers and supervisors as needed.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in automotive electronics, vehicle engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive industry, particularly with electric vehicle systems or EPS systems.
  • Familiarity with electronic and electrical systems, as well as software and hardware development processes in the automotive sector.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including CAN bus and Ethernet architectures, electric signals, and control algorithms.
  • Experience in vehicle systems calibration, parameter tuning, and data optimization.
  • Proficiency in Vector toolchain and CAPL programming language; MATLAB/Simulink skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262, ISO 21434, ISO 21448, ASPICE, and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Experience with FMEA, FTA, and FMEDA analysis methods.
  • Prior experience in multinational companies is preferred.
  • A strong passion for vehicle electric engineering is essential.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of the German language is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, especially in customer-facing situations.
  • Proficient in following established procedures and practices.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Canalyzer/Canape and other relevant tools.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
