Job Description

As a Hardware Engineer in our Commercial Vehicle Steering Systems team, you will play a key role in the development of innovative and highly automated driving solutions for the next generation of commercial vehicles. Your expertise in EE-HW will be crucial in putting your talent into the new generation of commercial vehicle steering systems for electrified and highly automated driving in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Develop new EE HW components and coordinate the system integration and release of EE HW in commercial vehicle steering systems.

• Create and manage EE HW requirements spec and test Spec in compliance with norms and OEM specific requirements.

• Take responsibility in a global cross-functional team, making your contribution to the big picture.

• Accompany the entire product development process from conception to system integration and from acquisition to series production support.

• Experience cooperation in an international network, regularly communicating with colleagues from various functions and organizational units.

• Provide technical support for new customer projects acquisition and EE-HW relevant content in customer projects.

• Assist other engineers or supervisors in the department as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Automotive Electronics, Electronic and Information Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or other similar subjects with a focus on electronics development.

• More than 3 years of experience in control unit development in the field of automotive electronics and strong EE-HW knowledge.

• Good understanding of SENT and CAN sensor, BLDC motor, and familiarity with CAN/CANFD, Function Safety (ISO 26262), and Autosar.

• Proficiency in development tools such as CANape, CANoe/CANalyzer, and Matlab.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal, and knowledge of German language is desirable.

• Strong interpersonal skills, flexible, resilient, team-oriented, and responsible, with the ability to work in a diverse team.

• Ability to follow established procedures, practices, and instructions.

• Excellent computer skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
