Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer - Electronic to join our team at Kohler Co. in Shanghai, China.

Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer - Electronic, you will be responsible for the detail design of electrical and electronic modules related to intelligent toilet and cleaning seat products. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating technical specifications in compliance with feature lists and industry standards requirements.
  • Performing schematic design, BOM generation, PCB layout design, and prototype making.
  • Validating electrical and electronic modules and fulfilling hardware verification on entire products.
  • Completing other tasks assigned by the manager.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in electric and electronic engineering, automation engineering, or telecommunication engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience in hardware development, with a preference for the household appliance domain.
  • Familiarity with Altium Designer development tools and the ability to perform electronic system schematic and PCBA layout design.
  • Understanding of industry standards and regulations for household appliance products, including electrical safety and EMC.
  • Familiarity with 8/16/32-bit MCU platforms, with experience in Renesas/Microchip/Giga Device MCUs preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in integrated teams and motivate others to act.
