This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact in the field of electrical engineering. As an Electrical Engineering Specialist at Aptiv, you will be responsible for creating high-quality designs that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create detailed wiring harness 2D drawings and EBOM documents
  • Familiarize yourself with the wiring harness manufacturing process and support sample production and mass production tasks in the factory
  • Select the correct components for the wiring harness, taking into account factors such as quality and reliability
  • Work with cross-functional teams to convert customer input into APTIV internal output, transferring it to the factory team and other relevant departments
  • Support the achievement of CG finish VAVE targets
  • Organize engineering change meetings and release updated documents
  • Collaborate with the Shanghai office and cross-functional departments to resolve DFM issues
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
  • Experience working with wiring harnesses and electrical systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
