Sourcing Director

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Director to lead our sourcing efforts for apparel and sports goods in China.

This is a leadership role that requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy for sports footwear and textiles across China.
• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers that meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and new technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product development, quality assurance) to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Manage and resolve supplier-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to the supply chain.
• Develop and manage budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

• Masters or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the sports industry.
• Proven track record of success in managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Strong knowledge of footwear and textile manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and spoken) to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region.
• Ability to travel frequently within China and occasionally internationally.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
