Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Supply Chain Resources Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of carbon fiber suppliers. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in aviation products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement processes to drive vendor deliverables, meeting schedule requirements and managing interactions with material planning, new product development, and global supply management teams.
  • Perform on-site audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation at vendor sites to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Lead the qualification process by ensuring timely documentation completion and approval of changes to supplier-related documents.
  • Conduct assessments for new vendors, traveling to their locations to evaluate technical capability and capacity.
  • Lead OQC activities at vendor sites and obtain Ok2Ship approvals for final manufacturing locations.
Requirements:
  • Experience in manufacturing, particularly in aviation products.
  • Familiarity with carbon fiber manufacture processes is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of plastic, machining, CNC, laser etching, assembly, tooling, molding, etc.
  • Excellent English communication skills and proficiency in CAD software to review drawings, parts, and assemblies.
  • Technical expertise in DFM (Design for Manufacturing) for mold flow simulation, machining/inspection fixture design, metrology (CMM/OMM programming and inspection), or process DFM for assemblies.
  • Able to use statistical tools & software for data analysis and possess good schedule management skills.
  • Careful and patient individual with strong writing and reporting abilities.
  • Proficiency in low-volume, high-variety manufacturing processes and familiarity with quality control methodologies (cosmetic, dimensional, functional).
