Process Operations Specialist

Job Responsibilities

At MOONS', we are seeking a skilled Process Operations Specialist to assume responsibility for ongoing performance of current processes and procedures. This role involves reviewing all existing processes and procedures on a regular basis to ensure the highest level of quality is achieved, troubleshooting and repairing as necessary. The Process Operations Specialist will also review work instruction data on a frequent basis for clarity and suggest/implement improvements if required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct process development experiments to ensure operation at optimal performance and to stay abreast of process improvements.
  • Recommend and implement positive changes to products or processes (along with supporting data) which would improve cost, delivery, and quality for our customers.
  • Monitor all process modifications and equipment changes and report as necessary.
  • Ensure processes or products adhere to the organization's quality program and recommend corrective actions.
  • Review all stencil orders and provide custom instructions to stencil suppliers as necessary.
  • Provide training on specific equipment as required and evaluate new equipment if necessary.
  • Design equipment and fixtures as necessary to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Maintain instrument calibration and ESD systems for manufacturing and stockroom areas.

Job Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a college degree and at least 3 years of related experience and/or training. The ideal candidate will have basic computer skills, experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and internet software, and be able to identify standard electronic components. Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards is also required.
