Game Operations Specialist

Riot Games is looking for a skilled Game Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Live Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our game to our players in China.

In this role, you will work closely with our partners to plan, manage, and execute game releases, ensuring that we deliver the best possible player experience. Your expertise in project management, pipeline management, and ITIL/DevOps practices will be invaluable in helping us to improve our product delivery pipeline and reduce player pain.

You will be responsible for maintaining our development environment, optimizing our development pipeline, and challenging the status quo to improve our continuous deployment process. Your communication skills will also be essential in facilitating discussions and making decisions that impact the live service and our players.

  • Manage game releases, including planning, deployment, and post-launch activities.
  • Collaborate with our partners to establish best practices and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the live operation of our game.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve our product delivery pipeline and reduce player pain.
  • Work with our Compliance Team to ensure that our game meets all necessary regulatory requirements.
  • Promote and spread the release culture and continuous improvement mindset throughout the entire organization.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Release Manager or related role in the game industry.
  • Experience submitting to mobile and/or console app stores.
  • Strong project management skills and pipeline management.
  • Experience working with ITIL/DevOps practices and procedures in a SaaS environment.
  • Bilingual Fluency: English and Mandarin.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with full-lifecycle feature or product release, from ideation to launch.
  • Experience in overseas games release.
