Position Overview

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Teams at TE Connectivity are responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial strategies for effective financial management and oversight. They conduct in-depth analyses to assess current and future financial performance, compiling, analyzing, and summarizing recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activities, and operational forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Finance Rotation Associate, your role will encompass various areas, including:

  • FP&A: Assist in the preparation of the budget and long-term strategic plans. Support the monthly global planning and reporting cycle, including the Operating Expense financial forecast. Develop and maintain financial models to facilitate monthly close and budget/forecast processes. Prepare variance analyses to support month-end reporting and quarterly business reviews.
  • Operations Finance: Aid in the preparation and presentation of daily, weekly, and monthly plant performance reports. Assist in the annual budget preparation and monthly financial forecasts. Conduct variance analyses and develop new reporting tools for cost control.
  • Internal Audit: Conduct financial and operational audits, evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with corporate policies. Identify audit issues and recommend improvements.
  • Product Management Finance: Review and support business decisions by analyzing the Cost Efficiency Report (CER) and identifying potential financial risks.
  • Commercial Finance: Provide analytical support for commercial decision-making to enhance sales and profitability. Track sales performance and consolidate sales forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Internship experience in multinational corporations.
  • International experience is advantageous.
