As a Global Finance Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work in various finance functions, gain international experience, and develop a well-rounded business acumen.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work in three six-month rotations within the Finance department, under the supervision of the country CFO or senior Finance department member.
  • Deliver value to Accounting, Finance, Operations Control, and Project Control teams, supporting the delivery of Finance Direction and Business strategy.
  • Collaborate with global teams within the Finance community to support Finance in Transformation and deliver a personal project during rotation to contribute to Hitachi Energy's business strategy.
  • Gain an understanding of what it takes to operate in a Finance organization within a Global business, participate in training and development activities to improve technical skills, and understand each department's daily processes and goals.
  • Complete all assigned tasks and assist with day-to-day operations, developing your strengths with regular feedback and clearly established performance objectives.
  • Live Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your Background:

  • Master's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline (studies to be completed before the start of the program).
  • Up to 18 months of professional work experience.
  • International mobility required for your assignments, with relocation assistance provided.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • A drive to learn new skills and open to receiving and providing feedback.
  • A positive attitude with an innovative and creative mindset.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, with additional languages considered an advantage.
