The Finance team at ADM is integral to our business success, delivering high-quality, precise, and timely financial insights and analyses for both internal support and external reporting obligations. To provide exceptional service, we seek talented individuals who can develop a comprehensive skill set across diverse cultures through a structured training program aimed at preparing you for a successful career in finance.
As a participant in our program, you will gain invaluable experience in an international setting, engaging with our Business Unit Finance, Global Business Services, and Centers of Excellence. In the role of Finance Intern, you will interact with senior finance leaders within ADM.
Our program spans two years, with an optional six-month extension, allowing you to rotate through various finance functions. You will collaborate closely with our skilled finance management professionals during these rotations. The finance areas you will explore include: Global Business Services, Business Unit Controlling, Business Unit Financial Planning and Analysis, Statutory Accounting, Treasury, Credit, and Tax. Each rotation lasts between three to six months, providing you with a pathway to an international career and the opportunity to significantly contribute to the ADM finance organization.
Upon successful completion of our APAC Finance Intern program, you will be well-prepared to take on a challenging role within the ADM finance function assigned to you.
Candidate Profile A Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field, with a strong interest in agribusiness and the nutrition industry. Proficiency in English (both spoken and written); knowledge of an additional Asian language is a plus. Willingness to relocate internationally for assignments. Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills across various stakeholders. Eager to learn all facets of finance and highly motivated to pursue a finance career in a regional and global context. Proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently. Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, and self-driven with a strong commitment to success and continuous improvement. Attention to detail with a strong aptitude for financial data analysis and reporting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (complex formulas, pivots, lookups). Familiarity with Power BI, VBA, Access, Power Query, or Python is an added advantage.
