Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Planner to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. This role will be responsible for managing daily replenishment, purchase order release and execution, as well as ensuring accurate and timely adjustments to PO lines.

Main Responsibilities
  • Daily replenishment by stock type and item category, manage purchase order release and execution.
  • Evaluate and maintain AB/LA lines, making timely adjustments on PO lines as necessary.
  • Prioritize POs and reschedule according to various scenarios, collaborating closely with suppliers for expediting when needed.
  • Work closely with the logistics team to track Goods-In-Transit (GIT) and resolve any GR issues that may arise in the warehouse.
  • Reserve inventory and adjust POs according to pre-order requests.
  • Provide supply forecasts to suppliers based on demand forecast and inventory status.
  • Regularly review lead times and delivery performance for each inter-company vendor.
  • Support commercial and operations teams in understanding supply status and provide judgment reports as required.
  • Maintain and update master data in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in supply planning or purchasing within a multinational company.
  • Familiarity with office software, ERP, and MRP systems.
  • Knowledge of trade compliance and logistics principles.
  • Experience in process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Fundamental financial awareness.
Essential Skills
  • Oral and written English proficiency.
  • Basic understanding of SIOP concepts and principles.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong logical thinking and data analysis abilities.
