Our R&D/Product Development Engineering teams are at the forefront of innovation, bringing new product ideas to life. We are responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept development through production and release.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead the development of socket, high-speed connector, and cable assembly solutions, collaborating closely with customers to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Conceive innovative product concepts and conduct feasibility studies, leveraging your expertise in mechanical and thermal simulations.
  • Develop detailed designs, including 2D/3D drawings, and perform rigorous DFMEA/tolerance analysis to ensure robust and reliable products.
  • Build prototype samples and conduct comprehensive validation testing to verify product performance and meet customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with Operations teams, providing technical support for manufacturing processes, quality control, and efficient production ramp-up.
  • Drive the resolution of product-related issues, managing Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) and Product Change Notifications (PCNs).
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive products to maintain a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements.
What You'll Bring:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on electrical components, devices, and systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of socket design, connector design, cable assembly design, and related mechanical design principles.
  • Expertise in 3D CAD applications (Creo preferred), including solid modeling, sheet metal design, and PDM link Data Manager.
  • Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) and limit/fit analysis, including statistical tolerance analysis.
  • Proficiency in English (both verbal and written) for effective communication with global teams and customers.
