Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of equipment.
  • Identify and address potential safety hazards and report them to management.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and maintain a positive working relationship.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of building management systems.
