About the Role

A2Mac1 is seeking a highly skilled Costing Engineer to join our team in Shanghai. As a Costing Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's growth and success by carrying out costing assignments and studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct cost studies, including planning, quality, and meeting deadlines
  • Analyze input data, identify materials and manufacturing processes, and cost them using internal tools and methodologies
  • Understand and explain product operation, including systems, subsystems, components, and functions
  • Identify and recommend ways to optimize the cost of a system
  • Conduct cost/performance benchmarking and value analysis studies
  • Write study reports according to required quality standards
  • Present results and ensure client satisfaction
Requirements
  • Completed Master studies in a relevant field, such as physics, mathematics, physical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or applied computer science
  • First experience in electronics development, HW/systems development, or mechanical components design is advantageous
  • Understanding of technically complex contexts
  • An open-minded personality, self-confident appearance, and very good Chinese and English skills
