Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will assist the Commission Manager in a range of tasks, including:

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough research, data collection, and benchmarking to inform our cost management strategies
  • Preparing feasibility studies and writing comprehensive procurement reports to support our clients' needs
  • Developing and presenting cost plans, including estimating and cost planning, to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Managing the tendering and procurement process, from pre-qualification to contractual document compilation
  • Dealing with post-contract cost variances and change control processes, ensuring timely and accurate cost checking and valuation
  • Producing monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to clients
  • Contributing to value engineering and negotiating final accounts
  • Interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stages
  • Assisting in the production of bid documentation
  • Identifying opportunities for improving cost management procedures, templates, and products
  • Ensuring key information and learning are captured and input into our internal database
  • Managing ongoing margin levels and identifying areas for process improvement
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in related fields
  • Desirable experience in commercial fit-out, industrial, mixed development, healthcare, hospitality, and leisure projects
  • Excellent technical knowledge and experience across the full range of Cost Management duties
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
