We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic Leader for Humanities to join our esteemed international high school in Foshan, Guangdong province. This is a full-time position commencing from February 2024.

About the School

Our prestigious international boarding school is established in Foshan's Shunde district and provides comprehensive education for K-12 students, encompassing primary, middle and high school divisions. With over 4,800 students and 700 faculty members, including approximately 100 international teachers, this school is the first in China to offer a continuum of IB PYP, MYP and DP programs, as well as IGCSE, A-Level and AP courses.

Job Overview

  • To teach humanities subjects effectively to students in secondary education, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and enhance the school's curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing targets so that all learners can succeed and improve.
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents/caregivers.
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher majoring in the relevant subject.
  • Minimum of two years teaching experience.
  • Teaching certifications preferred.
  • Previous experience in an international school preferred.
  • Eligible to apply for work visa.
