About This Role

Molex is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Black Belt to lead our Operational Excellence initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving process improvements and implementing Lean manufacturing principles across our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Facilitate the execution of plant strategies and provide guidance on Lean expertise to cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with operations and departments to identify areas for improvement and implement sustainable process changes.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts and identify barriers to effective implementation, taking necessary actions to resolve or escalate issues.
  • Report project status through established project tracking systems and manage project reviews.
  • Maintain awareness of customer impact and requirements regarding process changes, ensuring effective communication to eliminate potential negative effects.
  • Mentor and coach Lean and Six Sigma Green Belts, supporting the development of a pipeline of team members who can drive business results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, with a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product or process engineering, quality assurance, or business management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma implementation and project experience.
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees and possess strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Statistical skills at the Six Sigma Black Belt level and rich knowledge of Lean production principles.
  • Good presentation and training skills, with the ability to conduct training for all levels.
