We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team at Philips. As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions for our embedded systems.
About the Role:- Translate user and product requirements into software requirements.
- Create software architecture in line with overall product architecture.
- Define hardware-software interface.
- Convert architecture and requirements into detailed design and specifications.
- Facilitate user experience and user interface definition.
- Implement software solutions using C/C++, Swift/Objective-C, Java, and REST APIs.
- Support and execute software verification activities.
- Lead software quality review and facilitate planning and prioritization of resolution.
- Review software planning and manage project management and coordinating activities for smaller projects.
- Execute root-cause analysis of production problems and consumer complaints.
- Master's degree in Software Engineering, Informatics, or Electronics.
- At least 10 years of experience in Software Architecture, Design, and Development for Embedded Software/Firmware using C/C++.
- Experience in software development within the medical industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns.
- Experience with RTOS and BareMetal based Embedded Software on embedded systems.
- Familiarity with communication interfaces and network standards.
- Knowledge of V-model and SDLC.
