LumosCareer seeks a highly skilled and passionate English Teacher to join our team of educators in Hainan, China. As an English Teacher with LumosCareer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to young students aged 2-6 years old.

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and creative English Teacher who can plan and implement engaging English lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students. Your primary responsibility will be to teach English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, in a fun and interactive way.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development principles and be able to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with other kindergarten teachers and assistants to ensure an integrated approach to early childhood education.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, you will also be expected to assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and participate in parent-teacher conferences as needed. We value continuous professional learning and development, and we encourage our teachers to engage in ongoing training and workshops to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field. TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in early childhood settings, preferably in international or bilingual kindergartens.
  • Language: Native or near-native English speaker.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of child development principles.
    • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
    • Creative and patient with a passion for working with young children.
    • Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.
Benefits:
  • Salary: 25,000 - 27,000 RMB per month (before tax), depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Housing: Teacher's apartment provided, or monthly rental allowance of 1,500 RMB.
  • Meals: 50 RMB per day.
  • Insurance: Commercial insurance.
  • Transportation Allowance: 7,500 RMB per semester.
  • Bonus: Up to 10,000 RMB performance bonus per semester.
