About the Role


We are seeking a seasoned Sustainability and Safety Specialist to join our team. This key position will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of our HSE Policy and Occupational Health Policy across multiple sites. As part of this role, you will organize regular safety reviews, define Safe Operation Procedures, conduct hazard assessments, and develop risk evaluations.



Key Responsibilities



  • Implement and maintain effective HSE systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Organize regular safety reviews, workshops, and training sessions to promote a culture of sustainability and safety.
  • Develop and maintain Safe Operation Procedures, conducting regular audits and providing feedback to site management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate hazards, promoting a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Monitor and report on environmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for reduction.
  • Provide guidance and support to site personnel on HSE matters, promoting a culture of accountability and responsibility.


Requirements


To succeed in this role, you should possess:



  • A strong background in HSE, preferably with experience in industrial settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize areas for improvement.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science or engineering.
  • Fluency in English, with basic proficiency in other languages an advantage.
