Advanced AI Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced AI Researcher to join our team at Bosch Group. As an expert in conversational systems, you will be responsible for researching and developing AI-agent applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and foundation models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on LLMs and investigate related areas for both academic research and industrial applications.
- Research and develop cutting-edge NLP and LLM models and algorithms, ensuring high quality, scalability, and reliability.
- Transfer and apply advanced research of LLMs into practical solutions for Bosch products, unlocking the full potential of AI agents.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, or related fields.
- Expertise in LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, and LLM-based agents for reasoning, planning, and decision-making.
- Strong programming skills and hands-on experience with AI libraries and toolkits.
- Demonstrated strong research abilities through impactful contributions in the field.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Fluent communication skills in English (oral and written).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with multi-modal foundation models.
- Experience with voice assistants or real-time systems.
- Experience deploying AI models on cloud or embedded systems.
- Knowledge distillation and parallelization/optimization experience.
Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
